A quick blog update from Heathrow Airport as I prepare to start a new chapter.
I'm sat in the departure lounge at Heathrow reflecting on what an emotional rollercoaster the last few weeks have been, but especially the last few days.
This weekend:
– Kate and Will got married
– I moved out of Birmingham
– I broke my glasses
– I said goodbye to my family
– I said goodbye to many friends
– I said goodbye to one special person
– I broke a bone in my foot
– I shed a few tears
– The Cobblers won to stay in the League
– The Saints won their European Cup semi-final
– I tried contact lenses for the first time
– Osama Bin Laden was killed
– I had a delicious teriyaki steak
– After that I had an even more delicious nutella pancake with mango sorbet
– I hobbled around Heathrow writing this blog post 🙂
Wow. What shall I do next weekend?
were the broken glasses and bone related???
And next weekend, you’ll have the flat (and moggies) to yourself as we’ll be at Wembley 😀
No, separate! And the foot was entirely self-inflicted 🙂
Party at Wendy’s flat!! 😀
They’ve invented a contact lens strong enough for your prescription? Gosh!
Enjoy the move! 🙂
Oh my goodness, that certainly is an emotional roller coaster… and where were you yesterday and today when I wanted to talk politics with someone?
And don’t forget… your real friends won’t be saying ‘goodbye’ merely ‘cheerio’.
Hope the foot’s not too painful and as for contact lenses… you won’t look back (pardon the pun).
