Lofoten Islands
The most visually appealing beaches can be found in the photogenic Lofoten Islands, north of the Arctic Circle.
These white-sand beaches are a paradise for photographers thanks to their dramatic mountain backdrops and crystal-clear waters, but also offer some of the best surfing conditions in Norway.
Haukland Beach: Often cited as one of the most beautiful beaches in Norway, Haukland Beach is known for its stunning white sand contrasting with the emerald waters and the dramatic mountains that encircle the beach. It provides a breathtaking backdrop for both relaxation and photography.

Tucked away amid the sculptures outside the Astrup Fearnley Museum of Modern Art on Tjuvholmen is a small pebbly beach.
There are a couple of natural beaches over on the Bygdøy peninsula (Huk is one of the most popular destinations for Oslovians when the sun shines!) or on the Oslofjord islands including Hovedøya and Langøyene.

During this period, the weather is warmest, and the days are longest, allowing for milder sea conditions and extended enjoyment of the outdoors. However, you still shouldn't expect warm ocean temperatures!
